Holly Page
A keen birder from a young age, Holly grew up in Lancashire where she regularly visited reserves such as Leighton Moss and Marshside. She volunteered with the RSPB Bolton Local Group and Stockport Birdwatching Society, leading day trips for both plus long weekend breaks to Northumberland and Norfolk for the latter. She is a keen year lister and has been known to twitch from time to time (White-throated Robin at Hartlepool in 2011 and Snowy Owl on North Uist in 2022 – with a Heatherlea group! – being among her favourite twitches).
Holly first came to Heatherlea as a client in 2015 and joined several tours over the next few years before joining the guiding team in 2019. In 2020 she moved from her native Lancashire to Grantown-on-Spey to become one of our full-time guides. She now spends most of her time guiding across Scotland including the islands and has also led tours in Europe and The Americas. Her passion for the natural world, and birds in particular, is only matched by her enthusiasm in sharing her knowledge with others.
When not birding, Holly is a long-suffering Bolton Wanderers fan and also loves watching cricket and Formula 1.
