Jenna is a keen and capable birder, and in 2015 she started work as a wildlife guide in the Scottish Highlands, running tours in and around the Inverness Glens, the Black Isle, the Cairngorms and the Scottish Islands including Harris, Lewis, Islay, Mull and Iona. Jenna joined our team in Scotland in 2020.
Originally from the city of Hull, Jenna is a true Yorkshire lass, who took an interest in the natural world when she was given her first pair of binoculars at the age of seven. She has not looked back since!
Jenna has worked with her local wildlife trust in Yorkshire and subsequently in a number of different locations including Bempton Cliffs Seabird Centre, Loch Garten Osprey Centre and Northumberland’s Druridge Bay.
When she is not introducing people to wildlife, she can be found sifting through the contents of her moth trap or simply enjoying a spot of casual bird watching, painting or macro photography. Jenna’s love for birds and insects has taken her across the globe in search of new species and experiences, most recently to Sri Lanka and the Camargue.
