Martin Elliott

Joining Heatherlea again in 2023, we are delighted to welcome Martin back to the team!
A vastly experienced birder both in the UK and overseas, Martin has resided in West Cornwall for over 20 years.  A seabird expert, he is full time wildlife guide on the Mermaid II out of Penzance, and regularly organises pelagic trips in West Cornwall. Always at the forefront of an identification challenge, Martin boasts an enviable record of rare bird finds (including a recent Turkestan Shrike with fellow guide Mark). An acclaimed bird illustrator and published artist, Martin's work can be found in a number of international books and journals. We're sure you'll enjoy his company on this Scillies tour!
