We have received lots of lovely feedback from our guests over the past few months, some of which can be read below...

I have just returned from the Outer Limits in Summer holiday and wanted to thank you for a fantastic experience.
Our guides, Ian, Dave and John were simply superb. All staff at Heatherlea were lovely and friendly and very professional too, which made our stay extra special. The food was fantastic and a big shout out goes to the kitchen staff too, unseen but very much appreciated. Please thank everybody on our behalf.
Our group gelled very quickly and I think everybody got on very well, which also made the trip so enjoyable. We were soon working as a great team spotting the birds.

It was a sheer delight to enjoy these Heatherlea days. Everything was just so good. Our guides were wonderful and the group of us blended with unusual pleasure and harmony. After a pretty stressful time I’ve come home refreshed and inspired, vowing to make room for more Heatherlea holidays as they are so good.
The standard of care and interest is always fine. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The trips each day were imaginative and well-considered and engaged us with aspects of the Welsh landscape. I feel terribly grateful for such a buoyant week.

"Dear Heatherlea
We have just returned home after enjoying our Orkney Islands Explorer holiday and would like particularly to express our thanks and appreciation to our guide Mark. He is an excellent ornithologist and bird watcher and his understanding and pleasure in sharing his knowledge shone through with every sighting.
More than this though, as we were fog bound for an unscheduled extra day in Kirkwall on our way to North Ronaldsay. his knowledge of the islands was tested to the full as the issues of accommodation, transport and food were addressed and resolved without fuss - at no time did this impinge on his guiding ‘duties’ or the enjoyment of the holiday. The standing of Heatherlea was also evident and credit is similarly due to the support team back at Nethy Bridge.
Overall the holiday has provided a good introduction to the Islands, island life, and excellent bird watching opportunities.

Despite some cold, weather in the first half of the week the guides were brilliant at finding the birds, and on days that the sun came out it was easy by comparison (Capercaillie excepted!). So full marks to Dave, and to Holly who is brilliantly skilled at listening and finding stuff.

I have now arrived safely back from my trip and, as usual, I wanted to send my thanks and appreciation for another great trip.
I have come to expect your guides to be be of the highest order and Mark, Dave, and Holly were further proof that you employ the best. They have incredible knowledge they willingly shared and were patience personified when those less able like myself were struggling with some birds.
Your staff at the hotel were also very patient with changes to mealtimes.
I am already looking forward to my next trip whenever that may occur.
