We have just returned home after enjoying our Orkney Islands Explorer holiday and would like particularly to express our thanks and appreciation to our guide. He is an excellent ornithologist and bird watcher and his understanding and pleasure in sharing his knowledge shone through with every sighting. The holiday has provided a good introduction to the Islands, island life, and excellent bird watching opportunities. I just wanted to say thank you very much to everybody for making it another trip to remember with all the hard work put in by you. The food, as usual, was superb. Many thanks to the Chef. A special thanks of course to our guide for his brilliant leadership, knowledge and great sense of humour. There were some wonderful memories. I would like to drop you a line to say thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday Birding In The Highlands last week. Having not been to Scotland before I must say I was not disappointed by the birds and magnificent scenery. Made all the better by our leader’s expert guidance giving us a good chance to connect with the special wildlife in the area. Thanks again to everybody and I’m already looking into a return visit next year!
