This trip report does indeed bring back many happy memories. It was a wonderful trip and our guide worked so hard for us, finding lots of great birds, wild flowers and butterflies. The hotel was excellent and the food very tasty. The ground agent was an exceptional local representative and very good company. I'll definitely recommend this holiday to my birding friends! We have just returned home after enjoying our Orkney Islands Explorer holiday and would like particularly to express our thanks and appreciation to our guide. Just a quick note to thank you and all the staff at Mountview Hotel for a lovely trip. We greatly enjoyed the week we had with our guides and fellow birders. They worked really hard to get us the target species and we had great views of Golden Eagle, Black Grouse, Black-throated Diver and many others. We were also very grateful for the lengths that that the cooks and serving staff went-to, catering for my food allergies. Their hard work was very much appreciated, thank you.
