THE MOUNTVIEW HOTEL, NETHYBRIDGE 
Your perfect birding base! Scottish wildlife is wonderful, and we work
hard to make sure the rest of your stay is just as good. Our comfortable
Country House Hotel is a great place to relax, and The Mountview is certainly
well named; glorious views of three mountain ranges include the peaks
of Cairngorm and Bynack More.
The
Mountview Hotel is a VisitScotland approved three star Hotel, and also
has two AA stars. Guests enjoy comfortable en-suite accommodation, with
TV, hospitality tray and independent central heating in all rooms. Public
rooms include a comfortable lounge with log fire; a private reading room
stocked with natural history books and magazines, private residents' dining
room with fresh flowers and a well-stocked restaurant bar with glorious
mountain views. All public rooms are non-smoking, and non-birding guests
are welcome. Guests are NEVER asked to share or pay a single supplement
at The Mountview Hotel! Non-birding guests are welcome to stay or join
you for dinner.
VisitScotland assessment May 2005 ‘with a score
of 84%, The Mountview Hotel is at the top of the three star grading band’
– extra point awarded for good service in 2005.

at all times …’. An extra point for good service in 2005
gives The Mountview a rating of 72%. The hotel is judged ‘High Quality’,
and exceeds the average quality score of AA hotels both nationally and
locally.
We serve a set meal during our Heatherlea holidays, and cater for dietary
requirements including vegetarian, vegan and coeliac dishes.
